As part of the concept of layering, ACA acknowledged the historic nature of the heritage structures and applied a careful approach to the additions and alterations. By using contrasting materials, the different ownership periods are expressed and the heritage structures are emphasized. The rebirth of a once desolate space has ensured the survival of a beautiful heritage site.
